ABOUT US

Chancellor College is one of the student residential colleges at Universiti Putra Malaysia, located at the Serdang campus in Selangor Darul Ehsan. Established in 1973, it was formerly known as Residential College and Jelapang College (starting in 1975) because the student dormitory blocks were named after varieties of rice: Murni, Masria, Malinja, and Mahsuri. After the merging of the Fourth and Sixth Colleges, Chancellor College was formed, now comprising a total of eight blocks: Murni, Masria, Malinja, Mahsuri, Delima, Keranji, Salak, and Cermai. Additionally, the emblem of the Fourth Residential College itself features a rice stalk, symbolizing one of the key elements in the country's agriculture.
