24 September, UPM SERDANG – Kursus Pemerkasaan Kepemimpinan Mahasiswa Tertinggi 2023 (KPKMT 2023) has been successfully.  The course spanned eight days, commencing on September 17, 2023, and concluding on September 24, 2023 with activities on held at Chancellor College and Redang Island, Terengganu. The event saw the participation of 38 members of the Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Canselor, as well as faculty members and staff.

The leadership course was organized to strengthen the role of leadership and cultivate a cadre of influential student leaders. It provided participants with a relaxed environment for interaction and discussion, fostering personal development through various activities.

On September 17, 2023, a rehearsal for the official inauguration of Kursus Pemerkasaan Kepemimpinan Mahasiswa Tertinggi 2023 (KPKMT 2023) took place at Kolej Canselor. Activities such as "Hunter x Hunters" were organized to strengthen camaraderie among the TOP Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Canselor members and others. Briefings about KPKMT 2023 were also conducted to prepare all participants for the duration of the course.

Furthermore, on September 18, 2023, a recreational activity was conducted to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among the Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Canselor members. Various engaging workshops and activities, such as e-college management workshops (EPK), goal setting or key performance indicators (KPI) discussions, document reviews, and sessions with Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Taklimat Hal Ehwal Pelajar (BHEP), were held on that day. Activities with the principal, faculty, staff, and Majlis Perwakilan Kolej members were also conducted to foster unity within the organization.

On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, a team-building activity called "Save the Queen Bee" was organized to foster cooperation and efforts to achieve goals among the Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Canselor members. In the eighth session, a workshop on official government document writing was conducted by Ms. Zainor Mazwin Zainal, Administrative Officer at Kolej Canselor. The workshop delved deep into the intricacies of official correspondence and documentation when dealing with office matters.

A briefing on mental health and stress management was presented by Ms. Siti Nabilah Mohd Rohizat, a Psychology Officer from the Hulu Selangor District Health Office. The purpose of this briefing was to raise awareness among participants about the importance of mental health in maintaining personal well-being and harmony. In the tenth session, the first presentation of working papers was conducted with monitoring faculty members in the Kolej Canselor Hall.

On September 20, 2023, Wednesday, a recreational activity involving a dodgeball game was conducted to stimulate awareness and focus on the environment around us. In the eleventh session, the schedule for the first semester was set by the TOP MPK, with each secretariat selecting suitable dates and times for planned programs. In the evening, a funding session was presented by Ms. Aida Fitri Binti Peli, Administrative Officer of the Alumni Tracking and Enhancement Section of the Alumni Relations Center. She explained the step-by-step process of generating funds to cover program expenses.

On September 21, 2023, Thursday, the schedule was finalized, and equipment and logistics preparation were presented by Ms. Siti Aisyah Binti Shahadan, Deputy Head of Kolej Canselor, and Ms. Mazlina Binti Ismail, felo Kolej Canselor. At exactly 12 midnight, we departed for Merang Jetty, Kuala Terengganu, embarking on a journey that took approximately 7 hours.

On September 22, 2023, Friday, we arrived at Redang Island at 9 a.m. The morning session continued with the "Smiling Turtle Slot" presented by Ms. Nazibah Binti Kamaruddin, Chancellor College Faculty. In the evening, the "Crying Turtle Slot" was conducted by Mr. Abdul Zaidi Bin Abdullah, Chancellor College Faculty.

The following day, Saturday, activities focused on "Exploring the Great Wonders: Exploring the Magical World of Redang Island." This activity aimed to boost participants' confidence and courage when engaging in water-based activities. It was believed that bravery could shape charisma and credibility in every leader. The activity involved all MPK members, faculty, and staff. In preparation for the Cultural Night led by the Cultural and Cultural Secretariat, the night also featured a closing ceremony and resolution presentation to the Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Canselor, which took place at 10 p.m. The closing ceremony was vibrant with captivating cultural performances by each group.

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, we returned to Kolej Canselor. Before departing, we took pictures together as keepsakes. With high hopes, it is expected that the Kursus Pemerkasaan Kepemimpinan Mahasiswa Tertinggi 2023 (KPKMT 2023) has injected enthusiasm into all MPK, members to fulfill their responsibilities with utmost dedication.
