The Squad Putra: Future Guardians program is a community initiative held between two universities, namely Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) Pagoh Campus. A total of 40 representatives from UPM and 30 representatives from UTHM participated to ensure the success of this program.

This collaboration was established to carry out a high-impact program based on volunteerism aimed at preserving the environment along Kampung Parit Kelantan in Ayer Hitam, an area at risk of ecosystem disruption. The program served as a platform for community networking while fostering strong cooperation between the two universities.

All members of the College Representative Council (MPK) and Student Leadership Council (MKP) were divided into groups to carry out specific tasks such as cleaning suraus around Ayer Hitam and assisting at the Betta Persephone Fish Conservation Exhibition Centre in Ayer Hitam, Muar.

The Future Guardians program was successfully held in Kampung Ayer Hitam, Muar, Johor, on 19 April 2025.
