KOLEJ CANSELOR – The Semarak Muhibbah Madani program was successfully held over
four consecutive nights from 22 until 25 April 2025 at Dewan Sri Pulasan, Kolej Canselor. The program was organized by the Sekretariat Kerohanian, Perpaduan dan
Pembangunan Insaniah, Majlis Perwakilan Kolej, Kolej Canselor for the 2024/2025
session, in collaboration with the Management of Kolej Canselor. It aimed to strengthen
the spirit of unity and harmony among students through arts and cultural activities, in line
with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani.
During the first three nights, various cultural and heritage-based activities were conducted, including Chinese Calligraphy, Jawi Calligraphy, and Kolam design. These activities not only showcased the beauty of each culture but also created space for dialogue and deeper understanding among different communities. Student participation was encouraging, with 27 attendees on the first night, 40 on the second, and 37 on the
third.

The closing ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Ts. Dr. Syed Agil bin Shekh Alsagoff, Principal of Kolej Canselor, and attended by Mr. Hanis bin Johari, the monitoring officer,
along with students. In his speech, Dr. Syed Agil emphasized the importance of tolerance, openness, and mutual respect in building a harmonious campus community.
In conclusion, the program successfully achieved its objective of fostering unity and mutual understanding among the Kolej Canselor community. Through the lens of arts and culture, participants had the opportunity to appreciate the diversity within the college. Initiatives like this should be continued as a platform for identity building and
inclusive social well-being.
