KOLEJ CANSELOR  –  On December 29, 2024 (Sunday), a Protocol and Etiquette Workshop was held organized by the Digitalization and Corporate Communications Secretariat and the College Representative Council, Chancellor's College Session 2024/2025 together with the college management. The program is held in the Chancellor College Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A total of 46 people have participated in this program consisting of the College Representative Council (MPK), the Chancellor's College and members of the Digitization and Corporate Communications Secretariat Committee (SPKK). This program aims to provide opportunities for individuals, especially students of Universiti Putra Malaysia, to master council management skills and then apply them at the college level, even for higher levels.

Among the fillings throughout the program is the Basic of Protocol and Etiquette slot with a panel of speakers Ms. Nazibah Kamaruddin, Head of Division, Sultan Abdul Samad Library and Deputy Chief Fellow of the Chancellor's College. This slot reinforces students' knowledge of protocol unit responsibilities, layout and guest of honor titles. Next, the Civilized Eating Etiquette Simulation slot with a panel of speakers YBhg. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahrim Ab Karim, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Food Science and Technology. This slot highlights the procedures before, during and leaving the ceremony as well as the rules within the ceremony. Simulations on civilized dining etiquette are also implemented to give a deeper experience and understanding of table setting and the layout and function of hardware.

It is hoped that with the organization of the Protocol and Etiquette Workshop, students can build self-confidence to handle formal or informal events. Next, strengthen the image of Universiti Putra Malaysia as an institution that values ​​ethics, professionalism and efficiency in the management of events.
