KOLEJ CANSELOR – On 11 October 2025 (Saturday), the Malam Tunas Budaya 2025 (MTB 2025) competition was held in conjunction with Minggu Perkasa Putra 2025 (MPP 2025). Carrying the theme “Cultural Charms, the Pulse of the Archipelago,” the event showcased a vibrant and colorful performance by 30 first-year students from Kolej Canselor, taking place at the Dewan Besar, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre (PKKSSAAS).

Malam Tunas Budaya is one of the annual mandatory activities for first-year students, providing them the opportunity to discover, refine, and showcase their artistic and cultural talents. The program plays a vital role in nurturing college spirit, boosting self-confidence, and strengthening bonds among new students through teamwork-based activities.

Participants underwent seven days of intensive training , during which they worked diligently and collaboratively to perfect their performances. The training period not only served as a platform for learning about arts and culture but also instilled values of discipline, commitment, and responsibility in teamwork. Artistic activities such as this help strengthen students’ identity as a young generation that appreciates and continues the nation’s rich cultural heritage, ensuring it is not lost to time.

Through the dedication and hard work of all involved, Kolej Canselor achieved remarkable success in Malam Tunas Budaya 2025 by earning several prestigious awards, including 1st Runner-Up, Best Dance Group Award, Best Vocal Award and Best Cultural and Arts Fellow (MPK) Award

This success clearly reflects the spirit, creativity, and determination of Kolej Canselor’s new students in showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of Malay cultural heritage on the university stage. Kolej Canselor extends its heartiest congratulations and appreciation to all participants, committee members, and the Cultural and Arts Fellow for their full commitment and effort in making Malam Tunas Budaya 2025: “Cultural Charms, the Pulse of the Archipelago” a great success.
