CANSELOR COLLEGE –  The Growpreneurship Fiesta 2024, organized by the Entrepreneurship Secretariat of the College Representative Council (MPK), Kolej Canselor for the 2024/2025 session, was successfully held from 18th November to 24th Novermber 2024. Conducted entirely online, the program garnered the participation of 2,220 students from public (IPTA), Vocational Colleges (KV) and Technical High Schools (SMT) across Malaysia.

The program aimed to nurture entrepreneurial interest and awareness among youth, particularly university students, as future entrepreneurs. A variety of engaging subprograms were carefully planned to equip participants with valuable knowledge and experience. Key activities included Growpreneur Future Innovation, an interactive session exploring innovative ideas for the future of business. Additionally, the Growpreneur Mind Mash Quiz challenged participants to apply critical thinking in entrepreneurship.

Another highlight of the event was the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) Briefing, which provided insights into the company registration process and business regulations. Furthermore, the Entrepreneur in Arises Talk featured successful entrepreneurs sharing their experiences, challenges, and strategies for starting and running a business. These activities not only imparted essential knowledge but also fostered collaboration and exchange of ideas among participants.

The overwhelming participation of 2,220 students reflects the growing interest in entrepreneurship among Malaysia’s student community. The program served as an effective platform for promoting entrepreneurial knowledge in alignment with the national agenda to cultivate a new generation of creative and competitive entrepreneurs.

Overall, the success of Growpreneurship Fiesta 2024 stands as a testament to the importance of such initiatives in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among youth. With an encouraging response and impactful content, the event demonstrated the need to further enhance efforts to nurture entrepreneurial culture, ensuring a brighter economic future for the nation.
