20 May 2024, UPM SERDANG - Destinasi Kerjaya Ideal was successfully organized by the Sekretariat Alumni dan Kerjaya in collaboration with the Volunteering Secretariat, Chancellor’s College Student Council session 2023/2024. This program was held at the Dewan Kolej Canselor with a guest speaker, Encik Iqbal Ismat bin Nordin, Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik, Bahagian Perolehan Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, and also an alumnus of Universiti Putra Malaysia, who shared knowledge related to career fields, provided industry insights, and interacted with professionals in the field.

The main purpose of this program was to empower students with invaluable insights, job opportunities, and mentoring guidance. It also aimed to produce knowledgeable and highly skilled graduates who are aligned with soft skills and the evolving times.

The event began with an opening speech by the Principal of Chancellor's College, The Honourable Dr. Syed Agil Sheikh al Sagoff. The Destinasi Kerjaya Ideal ran from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The esteemed speaker, Encik Iqbal Ismat bin Nordin, captivated all the attending students with his very interesting sharing of knowledge and experiences.

The program successfully attracted the participation of 70 highly enthusiastic Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) students eager to gain knowledge and information about their future careers. At the end of the program, a Q&A session was held to allow students to ask questions and get direct answers from the speaker. Destinasi Kerjaya Ideal concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to the speaker, Encik Iqbal Ismat, by the Program Monitoring Officer, Cik Nazibah Binti Kamaruddin, accompanied by the program director, Nur Amirah binti Isahak. A photography session was then held with Encik Iqbal Ismat and all the participants before everyone dispersed.
